20 criminals arrested

The capital police claimed on Thursday to have arrested 20 outlaws from various areas of the city. The police also seized a laptop, a video camera, mobile phones, five firearms, one kilogram hashish, 10 bottles of liquor and other looted items from them. A police spokesman said Margallah Police Station SHO Inspector Arshad Ali Abro and ASI Muhammad Raees nabbed two suspects Shehzad and Faiz Ahmed with cash worth thousands, mobile phones, a movie camera and a laptop. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Basheer from the CIA police nabbed Waheed Ahmed and Nadeem Ahmed and recovered looted items worth Rs. 30,000 from them. SI Abdul Sattar of Bhara Kau police nabbed Riaz with one 30-bore pistol while Sub-Inspector Abdul Razzaq of Ramna police station nabbed Ameer Mukhtar while carrying a 30-bore pistol.
He said ASI Muhammad Iqbal of Shalimar police station arrested Mohsin Raza and Tanveer Shah with two-30 bore pistols. Sub Inspector Muhammad Aslam from Golra police apprehended Ghulam Mustafa for carrying 560 gram hashish while ASI Abrar Hussain from Tarnol police arrested Sheikh Tahir for possessing a 30-bore pistol. ASI Asif Shah from Sabzi Mandi police nabbed Saeed with 12-bore gun while a drug pusher named Sherzada was arrested by Sub-Inspector Sher Muhammad for possessing 510 gram hashish. Separately he said, the Aabpara police arrested Naveed, Ashfaq, Babar Waqas, Sana Aarzoo, Nisha and Sobia for their alleged involvement in “immoral activities” and recovered 10 bottles of liquor from them. Police have registered separate cases against those arrested.
