Death toll from the deadly dengue fever in Lahore rose to 153 as six more people died of the disease on Wednesday.
According to a private television channel, 50-year-old Bilal, a resident of Green Town, Khalid, aged 36, a resident of Taj Poora, and Umar Farooq, aged 20, a resident of Muridkey, passed away in Meo hospital.
Another patient, Mujahid Khan, aged 45, breathed his last in the same hospital. He belonged to Swat valley.
Two others include 58-year-old Muhammad Azam of Raj Garh and Majeedan Bibi of Ghazi Road also expired due to dengue virus.
