Another 27 suspected dengue fever had been admitted in the city’s hospitals during last 24 hours, said Islamabad Dengue Control and Surveillance Coordinator Dr Najeebullah Durrani on Tuesday. Twelve of them belonged to Islamabad while the remaining ones were from Gujrat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu Kashmir.
According to the breakup, seventeen patients have been admitted in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), four in Poly Clinic, two in Capital Hospital, three in Shifa International and one in KRL Hospital. Dr Durrani appealed to the people to take the preventive measures against the mosquitoes and keep their houses and surroundings clean and free from stagnant water.
