The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto seventh National Women’s Karate Championship will be held here at WAPDA Sports Complex from October 7 to 9.
The teams from all the affiliated units of the Pakistan Karate Federation including Army, WAPDA, Railways, Police, Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan, Islamabad and HEC will participate in the championship. The competitions will be held in the Individual Kumite in below 45, 50, 55, 61, 68 and above 68 kgs, team kumite, individual kata and team kata.
The Pakistan women karate team for participating in the first South Asian Karate Championship will be selected in the championship. Punjab Governor Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa will be the chief guest of the championship.
