Two men raped a teenage girl in Shahkot area of Nankana Sahab, a private TV channel reported on Friday. The victim had recently topped the Secondary School Certificate examination. According to reports, the two men went to pick up the girl from college telling her that her mother was ill, but took her to some unidentified location. They abandoned her three days ago after raping her. Asad, the girl’s father, lodged an FIR with the police against Shimroz and another accused.
He said the two influential men gang raped his daughter. The girl was shifted to a local hospital after the incident and remained under treatment for three days. She could not record her statement as she has been in a state of trauma. Kesar and Noori said the three accused were influential landlords and had sent their husbands and other males to get relief goods from 10 kilometers away. They also claimed that a pregnant woman Bhagli fell unconscious due to severe torture and had a miscarriage.
