Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted five benches at the Principal seat to hear a number of cases in the next week starting from October 3.
The first bench including the Chief Justice, Justice Tariq Parvez and Justice Ghulam Rabbani, the second bench of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, third bench of Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa and Justice Amir Hani Muslim, fourth bench of Justice Nasir ul Mulk and Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, the fifth bench of Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmani will hear a number of cases fixed before them.
According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case. Besides, no adjournment on any ground will be granted.
