Pakistan Muslim League (N) has filed an adjournment motion against the increase in petrol prices at the secretariat of the National Assembly.
The motion says that the government has burdening the people with additional expenses to make up its losses. This is unjust and unfair and the price increases should be withdrawn, the motion says.
The adjournment motion pleads the Speaker of the National Assembly to stop the usual business of the Assembly so that this vital issue could be discussed.
