In order to facilitate maximum number of visitors, Lok Virsa notified its revised timings for of the National Heritage Museum and Pakistan Monument Museum on Friday.
Talking to this scribe, Lok Virsa Executive Director (ED) Khalid Javaid said that both the museums would remain open for public from Tuesday to Sunday daily, between 10 am to 8 pm (with a break for prayer on Friday from 1pm to 2:30pm.
He said Monday would be a holiday at Lok Virsa museums. He said all visitors would be fully facilitated during their visit between 10am to 6pm (except on Sundays & Mondays).
He added that in order to attract the youth and to inculcate into them awareness about the cultural heritage of Pakistan, free entry for museums was being offered for students on Fridays.
“On other weekdays, the students can buy a ticket for nominal charges of Rs 10. Free access to students on Fridays has been granted under the instructions from federal minister for information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan and Information Secretary Taimur Azmat Osman,” he added.
