Pakistan and United Nations women, Pakistan, will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enhance their partnership in gender equality commitments for gender responsive budgeting and generating the budget making process in Pakistan on Friday (today). Secretary Finance Dr Waqar Masood Khan and UN Women Pakistan Country Programme Director Alice H Shackelford will sign the MOU. Pakistan and UN Women joined hands in 2009 to strengthen poverty reduction strategy monitoring project to enhance their partnership in gender equality commitments.
