Drug addict puffs his life away

An unidentified 25-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Qilla Gujjar Singh Police precincts on Friday. The deceased was found dead near Lakshmi Chowk. Some passer-by spotted the body and informed police, which removed the body to the city morgue for autopsy. Police suspected that the deceased was a drug addict and died of an overdose.
INVESTGIATION: The Badami Bagh Police have failed to make any breakthrough in the investigation of murder of sub-inspector Naveed Bhatti. Naveed, a sub-inspector of Lower Mall Police, was allegedly shot dead by his rivals near Usman Chowk, Datanagar Pull. Police had registered a case against Zeeshan, Bilal, Shahbaz and Tanveer but failed to arrest any of the accused so far. The investigation officer of the case said raids were being conducted to arrest them and soon the accused would be in police custody.
ROBBERY: Robbers looted valuables worth Rs 2.5 million from a godown in the Factory Area Police precincts. Robbers broke into a sanitary factory located in Ittehad Colony and looted valuables worth Rs 2.5 million. The robbers loaded the stolen goods in a truck and managed to flee. The Factory Area Police registered a case against the unidentified robbers on the complaint of the factory owner.
SUSPECT HELD: The Mustafa Town Police arrested a banned organisation member when he was selling prohibited literature. The accused was identified as Muhammad Ali. Police said that the accused was selling prohibited literature in their premises and belonged to the outlawed Hizbut Tahrir.

  1. I'm surprised that many might be surprised by this – not so much a revelation as common sense. The addiction industry won't like it – strikes at the heart of their creed.
