Pakistan’s ace tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his partner Oliver Marach of Austria routed their Italian opponents Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini in the semi-final of Thailand Open ATP Championship. They outplayed their opponents en route to a convincing 6-4, 6-1 win. Though Italians served very well with 80 per cent first serve and 5 aces yet Aisam and partner were lethal on serve returns. Aisam hit winner after winner on the Italian’s services. They were especially very harsh to Fognini who looked dazzled and helpless. Aisam and partner gave no break point opportunity to their opponents but availed all the four break points they created to break the Italians every time. Aisam and partner bagged 53 out of 86 points played while Italians went have with only 33. Earlier in Quarter Final, Aisam and Oliver beat Jamie Murray of UK and Andre SA of Brazil after a grueling fight with a score of 6-4, 2-6, 10-7.
