US Embassy Political Counsellor Jonathan Pratt and Deputy Political Counsellor John Hill called on Pakistan Muslim League-Likeminded President and Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Senator Salim Saifullah Khan on Wednesday and discussed the Pakistan-US relations.
Saifullah said that good sense must prevail between the US and Pakistan and hoped that the US would not resort to any unilateral action in North Waziristan. He said further that good relations between Pakistan and the US were in the best interest of not only Afghanistan and South Asia, but also for the successful end of the war against terror.
