NP boycotts APC

National Party (NP) Thursday announced to boycott All-Party Conference (APC) calling it a useless practice.
Addressing a news conference here at Press Club, NP leader Abdul Maalik Baloch said that APC would not produce any result as establishments of both US and Pakistan enjoy a close relation amid bitter war of words.
He said instead of building consensus on the relationship with Washington, APC should be called on the Balochistan issue where people were being killed on ethnic and religious differences.
Maalik said that the government wants status-quo continue in Balochistan, warning that if People’s Party did not change its approach towards Balochistan, NP would even not like to sit with them in opposition.
He said although NP is boycotting APC but his party would oppose any aggression or attack by United States on Pakistani soil.
