A row erupted between a policeman and lawyers at the sessions court on Thursday when the officer did not allow the lawyer to take his car into the court following instructions of the district and sessions judge. According to details, Muhammad Shamaun, the security head of the judge’s gate stopped a lawyer from taking his car into the court’s premises but the lawyer flared up and started fighting with police officials deputed at the gate. Some lawyers standing nearby also reached there to support their colleague. The car was taken into the court premises after the lawyers’ intervention. Police officials said that they had been deployed at the gates for the security of judges, lawyers, litigants and others but the lawyers did not cooperate with them. They said that neither the lawyers allowed them to conduct body checks nor did they park their cars outside the court’s premises.
