As many as 12 patients with dengue symptoms have been admitted to various hospitals of the capital during the last 24 hours. According to data compiled by the District Health Office, seven patients were brought to the PIMS, three to the Polyclinic Hospital and two to Shifa International Hospital. District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Najeebullah Durrani said on Wednesday that out of 12 patients, 8 belonged to Islamabad while others were from Rawalpindi and Azad Jammu Kashmir region.
