Media representatives and Meera on Tuesday joined hands to raise funds for the flood-affected people when the famous film actress along with the National Press Club (NPC) members took to the streets of the federal capital to seek funding for the shelter-less people of Sindh.Meera along with others visited the Super Market where they met with traders and visitors to seek support for a noble cause. She also collected funds from the commuters and managed to collect more than 0.2 million rupees in just two hours. In a brief message, Meera said it was a high time for all the super stars to come forward to help the rain affectees. “I have donated Rs 50,000 to the NPC and will continue to take part in relief activities,” she added.
