Sixteen children who had died in the bus accident near Kallar Kahar were buried on Tuesday as Faisalabad sank into a gloom.
On Monday, a school bus on a trip to the Khewra salt mines, carrying 105 children, 3 teachers, the headmaster of the school and a servant skidded off the motorway and fell into a ditch.
The unfortunate incident killed 32 children, Headmaster Muhammad Hafeez Anwar and the driver and conductor of the bus. The children were from the Millat Grammar School, Faisalabad. Painful details emerged about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
