The national flag-carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is facing delays and cancellations of flights due to technical glitches, as well as the shortage of planes.
The recent incident of flight delay occurred when PIA flight PK-255 rose in the air and soon after its power generator went out of order. The flight carrying 95 passengers was immediately made an emergency landing at Karachi airport.
Various PIA flight, including Islamabad-Skardu PK-451 and PK-356 moving from Lahore to Islamabad as well as the Karachi-Muscat PK-225, were cancelled.
