Punjab University (PU) Islami Jamiat-e-Talba (IJT) Nazim Zubair Safdar claimed on Monday that Microsoft Founder Bill Gates, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer and the Imam-e-Kaba will attend the IJT’s congregation at the PU next month.
He was speaking at a press conference at the Lahore Press Club to brief journalists about the schedule, arrangements and guests for the congregation. Safdar also claimed participation of 0.1 million students and said that 29 committees with 1,000 members were working for the success of the event. The congregation will be held from October 15 to 17. The security team will consist of 500 members. Around 500 washrooms and a 50-bed hospital will also be established in this regard.
