WAPDA and Balochistan United reached the semifinals of the seventh National Women’s Football Championship at Islamabad on Monday. In the first quarterfinal of the day, WAPDA thrashed HEC by 5-1 at Jinnah Stadium PSB. WAPDA’s Parveen scored a brace while Shabana Kausar, Naila and Mehvish scored one goal each.
Razia scored the only goal for HEC. In the other quarterfinal of the day, Balochistan United WFC defeated Sports Sciences WFC by 3-0 at Outer Football Ground, PSB. Riffat Mehdi scored twice in the 29th and the 57th minutes for Balochistan.
