A man was shot dead by his friend under the alleged influence of liquor over a minor dispute in the Naseerabad Police precincts on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Sohail Masih alias Toti of Mecca Colony. As per details, accused Shahzad and the deceased Sohail were good friends and used to drink together. The deceased was a sanitary worker and father of three children.
On the day of the incident, Shahzad and Sohail went back to their places after drinking. After a while, Shahzad came out of his house and started shouting and using abusive language outside Sohail’s house. Sohail was infuriated and exchanged harsh words with him. Shahzad, as a response, took out his pistol and shot him. As a result, Sohail was injured and taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police reached the spot and removed the body to the city morgue for autopsy. Police have registered a case against Shahzad who remains at large.
BODIES FOUND: Two unidentified people were found dead in two different areas of the city.

The man was lying dead at the bank of a road when some passer-by spotted him and informed police, which reached the spot and removed the body to the city morgue. A police spokesman said that the man was a drug addict and died of an overdose.

The body was lying near Data Darbar when some passers-by spotted him and informed police, which reached the spot and removed the body to the city morgue for autopsy.
