Around 239 policemen, including 197 constables, seven head constables, 20 assistant sub-inspectors, 12 sub-inspectors, two inspectors and a deputy superintendent of police are suffering from dengue while Constable Attahullah of the Mujahid Squad has expired due to the disease, Lahore Capital City Police Officer Ahmed Raza Tahir said on Monday.
In order to take preventive measures against dengue, fumigation at police stations and offices should not be further put off. The CCPO reviewed the fumigation plan at police offices, Qilla Gujjar Singh Police Lines, Qurban Lines and police residences.
