Kingdom of Netherlands Ambassador Gajus Scheltema visited Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on Saturday. He met Dr Adil Najam in a meeting where the varsity’s vice chancellor gave an overview of LUMS. Scheltema discussed possible opportunities for collaboration between LUMS and universities in Netherlands.
Later in the meeting, the vice chancellor explained about the financial aid system and how a large portion of the student body was benefiting from this. Scheltema was also briefed about the national outreach programme, and how this initiative had provided educational opportunities to deserving students.
