Exam postponed

The PPSC (Punjab Public Service Commission) PMS exam has been postponed because the 5-year age relaxation was not given in the advertisement and many candidates were not able to apply. But now the PPSC has realised its mistake and appointed an Inquiry office for a detailed probe in this regard.

A new advertisement will soon be given in national and provincial newspapers in which 5 years age relaxation will also be advertised and the candidate over the age of 28 but under the age of 33 can now apply.

This negligence of PPSC was met with criticism by most candidates. They said that the PPSC is one of the highest institutions of Punjab and all its actions should be responsible, transparent and free of errors.

Some of the candidates complained that they worked day and night for preparation of the PMS exam but now they have to prepare again. They also complained about the fact that they were not informed of this postponement and the new dates of exam in a timely manner.

All the candidates, newly eligible and the old ones, are demanding that the new confirmed dates of the exam should be announced formally without any delay/any mistake.
