Dengue claims six more lives

At least six more people including a security official died as dengue virus continue to play havoc in the provincial
capital.
It’s worth mentioning that despite spray, precautionary measures and other steps dengue virus was getting out of control in Punjab especially in Lahore.
Six people including an official of the Elite forces Jehanzeb 30, Rukhsana 42, and Ayaz Bhatti 22, died of the dengue fever in Mayo, services and other hospitals of the city.
The deceased Elite force official Jehanzeb was serving in the security squad of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif. The dengue virus victim Rukhsana was mother of three children and hailed from Mian Mir Colony while Ayaz Bhatti was resident of Gulshan-e- Ravi. All the three people died of the disease in the Mayo Hospital on Saturday morning.
Several new cases of dengue have also been detected in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalababad, Multan, Sheikhupura in Punjab as well as in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
The citizens expressing their grave concerns over spread of dengue virus and surge in deaths have demanded the federal and provincial governments for taking solid steps to save the masses of the epidemics.

They also suggested for seeking help of international experts and importing
medicines for the purpose besides adopting precautionary measures.
