As many as 30 teachers from different universities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are participating in the Professional Competency Enhancement Programme for Teachers (PCEPT) of Higher Education Commission (HEC) started at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) Friday.
The 18-day training programme is being arranged by the Training Cell of FUAAST and National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Learning Innovation Division of HEC. The world renowned resource persons from all over the country are participating in this programme to train the teachers. The purpose of this training programme is to strengthen the university faculty to cope with the new challenges of 21st century.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the programme, Incharge Campus Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology Islamabad, Prof Dr Zahid Saleem thanked Director General Learning Innovation Division, HEC Noor Amna Malik on her special efforts for considering FUUAST for this training programme.
He requested her to carry on such programmes in future and urged the participants to take maximum benefits from this training programme.
