The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) and United Christian Hospital (UCH) established and inaugurated a ward exclusively for dengue patients on Friday. According to details, the ward is a 35-bed facility, which was extendable to 65 beds. A private cable company announced to provide medicines free-of-cost to patients. The PMA would provide doctors for the hospital too and the Punjab government also provided three air-conditioners for the hospital ward. These were the maximum number of beds being offered by a private sector organisation for dengue patients.
