Mujahid squad constable run over by tractor

Three people died in different incidents on Friday. A young police constable was run over by a tractor on Multan Road in the Choong Police precincts.
Mudassar Ali, 25, was run over during duty near Pir Adalat Ali Chowk. He was deployed on the Multan Road check-post as a constable of the Mujahid squad. According to the first information report (FIR), Madassar had stopped a tractor that ran through the check-post, running him over. He was injured and taken to a nearby hospital where he passed away. Doctors claimed that the constable was injured fatally in the chest and head regions. The tractor and the driver of the vehicle were taken into custody.
WOMAN KILLED: Separately, a woman was strangled to death by her husband over a domestic issue in the Factory Area Police precincts.
The deceased was identified as Azra and was a resident of Malakand. Station House Officer Husnain Haider said that the deceased was married to Nisar, a resident of the same area. The SHO said that Nisar and Azra had eloped after marriage and settled in Lahore in order to avoid disputes with Nisar’s family. He said that the two were living in a man named Aslam’s house in Gulistan Colony 2. The SHO said that Nisar and Azra quarreled over some domestic issue and Nisar strangled Azra to death. The residents of the area informed the police and the police moved the deceased’s body to the city morgue for autopsy and arrested Nisar after registering a case against him.
Man strangled: In another incident, a man was strangled to death in the Millat Park Police precincts. Sub-Inspector Nasir Khan said that Chingchi driver Sikandar Ali, 35, from Sherakot was found dead near Millat Park Police Station. He said that Nasir had marks on his neck which indicated that someone had strangled him. He said that an FIT had been lodged on the complaint of his brother Amanat Ali under section 302 of PPC. The body was removed to the city morgue for autopsy.
Robbery: A few robbers shot a man and injured him for resisting in the Township Police precincts. Police officers said that Roshan Dil Subhani, 36, was going to the market when two robbers riding a bike stopped him. The robbers demanded valuables but he resisted on which one of the robbers shot him. He was injured while the robbers escaped with his valuables.
