Ghazal King suffers brain hemorrhage

Acclaimed ghazal singer Jagjit Singh has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Friday. The noted singer reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage. Doctors have pronounced his condition as critical. Doctors said that the singer’s history of heart ailment might have triggered the haemorrhage. The 70-year-old classical legend is a precious asset to the eastern classical tradition and Twitter seems to be flooded with concerns about Jagjit and his fans are anxiously praying that he gets well soon.
