The Crime Investigation Department (CID), the Pakistan Rangers-Sindh and the Karachi police arrested four suspects from separate parts of the metropolitan on Thursday. The CID arrested a suspect involved in the Chakra Goth violence from Korangi. On a tip-off, a CID team raided a house in Korangi and arrested Sikandar Ali. A TT pistol was also recovered from his possession. The detainee had been nominated in the First Information Report of the attack on a police mobile unit in Chakra Goth. Separately, the Rangers arrested a suspect and recovered heavy weapons from his possession.
The paramilitary force conducted a search operation in Liaquatabad and arrested Kashif alias Darzi. Three Kalashnikovs, two repeaters and two hand grenades were recovered from the detainee. Moreover, the Karachi police arrested Junaid alias Shah from the Gulshanabad area of Keamari and recovered a TT pistol from his possession. The suspect admitted murdering a man and a woman. Another suspect was arrested from Baldia Town. Arif was detained for his involvement in murdering three people. Police also recovered a weapon from his possession.
