PPP Co-chairman President Asif Ali Zardari thanked the US delegation for his election win, WikiLeaks has revealed. A diplomatic cable sent by then US ambassador Anne Patterson to Washington on May30, 2008, spoke of a meeting between US Representatives Shiff and Schwarts and Zardari along with his foreign policy team. Zardari thanked the US for its support of credible parliamentary elections which brought his party to power. “We are here because of you,” he said.
The heading of this news is misleading and the news paper management must take notice of this manipulation. Zardari only thanked the Americans for it's support of credible parliamentary elections. This is not fair Mr. Arif Nizami and your image and reputation is more sacrosanct than any other consideration.
I agree with Mr Nayyar.
