President Asif Ali Zardari held an important meeting with Sindh Governor Ishrat-ul-Ebad on Thursday and discussed ongoing relief activities for Sindh and other issues.
Reportedly, in the meeting, the president stressed collective efforts by all political parties to provide relief to flood affectees, and put aside politics over the tragedy.
He said the government was steadfastly maintaining its reconciliation policies and would enhance its relations with MQM, as it was undoubtly a major political force, which enjoyed cordial relations with PPP.
Ishrat-ul-Ebad assured the president of his complete support and cooperation while various recommendations to enhance the mutual relations between the two parties were also discussed.
