Pakistan’s tallest skyscraper to be completed this year

Pakistan’s tallest skyscraper (currently), in the economic hub of the country , Karachi, is set to have its huge shopping center being functional by the end of this year with an investment of $81.3 million (Rs7 billion).
The high-rise project is set to break the record of being the tallest building in the country with 393 feet height and 28 floors whereas the record is currently held by a private bank building with the height of 370 feet comprising of 24 floors situated in Karachi on I.I. Chundrigar Road.
The building is being constructed and furnished meeting the standards of international shopping centers and luxury hotels. It will be having a shopping center, The Mall, outlets of international brands, lavish food courts, corporate offices and Business Club.
The building was initially designed to house an international hotel chain but due to law and order situation the plan could not materialize while the local consortium, having full faith in the country’s progress, continued with the project by its own financial resources.
The Management said that the project is being pursued to provide the citizens of Karachi with a world class shopping experience with corporate offices showcasing their products in Pakistan’s tallest and most modern building.
The building would be one of its own kind as it is being constructed with special construction materials, possessing the ability to observe earthquake shocks as per Karachi Building Controller Authority standard requirement.
