The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has requested the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Managing Director to release the cash award of Rs 50,000 promised to players and officials of blind team on December 24, 2010 for winning the series against Nepal. The announcement was made in front of media and the then Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira at Shalimar Stadium, Islamabad. The PBCC reminded the MD many times of his promise and requested to release the said amount.
