Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said the Kashmir dispute should be resolved peacefully under the resolutions of the United Nations. According to the Kashmir Media Service, addressing the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir, Hina said Pakistan wanted a peaceful and just solution to the dispute. The foreign minister, accompanied by All-Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, said, “We are grateful to the OIC for their support on Jammu and Kashmir,” adding, “This gives strength to the Kashmir cause and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.” She said India had been consistently trampling the voice of Kashmiris. “India has shown little regard for the wishes of the Kashmiri people,” she said.
The foreign minister said Kashmiris never lost their hope despite operations carried out by the Indian occupation forces. She said power and violent games in Indian-held Kashmir must be stopped. Farooq said despite peace talks between Pakistan and India, the human rights situation in IHK had not changed. Highlighting the issue of the recently discovered mass graves in the occupied territory, he called upon the OIC to send a fact-finding group to investigate the issue, as well as the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances to conduct an investigation. The Turkish foreign minister, representatives from Saudi Arabia and various other member countries were also present.

  1. The Kashmiris want a separate state so India & Pakistan leave this issue & let them be free & the Present govt should try to first look after its land rather than increasing problems
