The Oneness Movement, Pakistan held a candle light vigil at the Charing Cross on Wednesday to commemorate the International Day of Peace.
People from all walks of life held placards and banners that condemned violence in any form and encouraged the use of dialogue to resolve conflicts. One placard read, “Use Words not Weapons” while others promoted the International Day of Peace with its date. The vigil was meant to pass on the message of peace to passers-by and help encourage them to think about the fact that violence could not help anyone achieve any goals.
