A 28-year-old under-training police constable was killed after being injured during training in the Manawan Police Training School on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Khayam. Police said that the deceased had joined police a couple of months ago and was under training at the Manawan Police Training School. He fell during training and was injured. Khayam was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police handed over the body of the deceased to his family who took it back to his hometown for burial.
BODY FOUND: An unidentified 30-year-old man’s body was found from the Shahdara Police precincts.
The body was found on the roadside in the Begum Kot Area by local residents, who informed police, which removed the body to the city morgue for autopsy. Police said that no documents were found during body search, which made it difficult to identify the deceased. Police said that no bruises were witnessed on any part of the deceased’s body.
