RoK donates $200,000

The Republic of (South) Korea (RoK) has donated relief goods worth $200,000 for the rain- and flood-hit people of Sindh. The RoK government has conveyed its sympathies to the government and people of Pakistan and said that its people stand by them in this hour of need. The RoK government, in response to the Pakistani government’s appeal to the international community for flood relief, has decided to provide emergency humanitarian assistance of $200,000 in form of relief goods for the affected people through the agencies concerned, including the National Disaster Management Authority. These relief goods include tents, blankets, water purification medicines, mosquito repellants etc, which would arrive shortly in Karachi and be handed over to the Pakistani authorities concerned immediately.
