Dr Tariq Rehman, a Higher Education Commission (HEC) distinguished national professor and professor emeritus at the National Institute of Pakistan Studies (NIPS), Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad has joined the Beaconhouse National University (BNU) as school of education dean replacing Dr Sabiha Mansoor, who was recently appointed Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) vice-chancellor. Dr Rehman served as NIPS director from June 2007 to June 2011. He is a highly published scholar with over 93 articles in scholarly journals, 18 books, six encyclopedia articles, 30 contributions to books and several book reviews.
