Additional DG FIA Zafar Qureshi has said he has found crucial evidence against Moonis Elahi in NICL case.
He said this while talking to a private TV channel with reference to investigation into NICL case.
He said that Khadim Rasool had told that he (Khadim) had not opened account in any private bank and Muhammad Malik, manager of Moonis Elahi opened the account along with two bank managers while a sum of Rs 100 million were transferred to this bank account
Zafar Qureshi told that Supreme Court (SC) had directed DG FIA and interior secretary to cooperate with him in the investigations into this case. Both were not cooperating with him despite orders of SC and he had written a letter to SC Registrar against violation of its orders by both of them, Qureshi said.
Additional DG FIA had also written letter for arrest of Waqar Haider, Director FIA Lahore as allegation has been levelled against him that he has to return Rs 20 million to the family of Moonis Elahi.
Qureshi said that he had recovered Rs 320 million from Moonis Elahi and Rs 220 millions were yet to be recovered.
