Awami National Party Central Vice President Bushra Gohar Wednesday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s rejoining of government would not be objected. In an exclusive chat with Online, she said, “We reacted as a result of baseless blames by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain and took a stand that ANP would quit the ruling coalition if MQM rejoins it.”
But since he had realized that his allegations were baseless and had sought apology, ANP would change its stance and would have no objection over any deal between the ruling coalition and the MQM, she said, adding that ANP did not believe in political point-scoring and would accept any decision that the court makes in Awami National Party’s case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
