Five millimeters rain in the city dropped the mercury and the maximum temperature was 32 degrees Celsius on Monday. The Met Office informed that isolated rain with thundershower was expected in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) today (Tuesday) while dry weather was expected in rest of the country. Isolated thunderstorm and rain occurred in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK on Monday.
According to the Met Office, 35 millimeters rain was recorded in Mangla, 16 in Jhelum, 15 in Saidu Sharif, six in Kakul, five in Lahore, five in Sahiwal and three millimetres rain was recorded in Dir on Monday. Around 76 percent humidity was recorded in Lahore on Monday morning, which dropped to 66 percent in the evening.
