LHC takes notice of cases against single family

Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Monday took a suo motu notice of registration of criminal cases against a family in three different police stations and sought replies from SHOs by October 17.Citizen Bashir submitted an application in the LHC Human Rights Cell against police highhandedness and requested the CJ to take notice.
He complained that he had a monetary dispute with Sarwar who used his influence and got cases registered against him, his wife and mother-in-law in police stations of North Cantt, Defence and CIA Kotwali. He pointed out that police were harassing and raiding his house.
