Farmers in Dadu demand compensation for destroyed animal feed

Various areas of Dadu are still submerged under three to four feet of water, destroying fodder which cultivators had stacked for their livestock, and causing them losses worth millions of rupees.
It should be mentioned here that these farmers stockpile animal feed to sell it in other cities, including Karachi, but the recent torrential rains spoiled this hoarded fodder, causing them heavy losses.
The affected farmers demanded the government to expedite water drainage from the places of feed piles, as the remaining fodder may further rot after the rains.
The affectees also demanded the government and the administration for recompense them for their losses and invest in the improving the infrastructure to avert such situations in the future.
