JI blasts US accusations against Pakistan

Jamaat e Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has blasted US accusation that Pakistan was involved in the recent terrorist attack at the NATO headquarters in Kabul.
Addressing an Islamic Revolution Conference at Nowshera on Sunday, he said the US was hurling false accusation on Islamabad only to avenge its defeat in Afghanistan, adding that the US envoy’s charge that Islamabad had links with the Haqqani group was absurd. Hasan said it was a pity that the Pakistani government was still a US slave when all Washington could do was demand ‘do more’.
He said the military operation in Swat and other tribal areas on US dictation had done irreparable loss to this country. The US was now pressurising the government to carry out a military operation in North Waziristan, he said, adding that the armed forces should refrain from such an action. He said that military operation never helped solve issues and the warring parties must come to talks to decide issues.
Hasan said that the US wanted to thrust its New World Order all over the world but it would never succeed in its designs. He said that Islam was a complete way of life that had solution for every human problem. JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, on Sunday toured the flood affected areas in the districts of Tando Allah Yar and Mir Pur Khas in Sindh to oversee the working of the JI relief camps for the marooned people.
He distributed cooking material, mosquito nets and other necessary items among the flood affected people at Jhuddo, Digri and Kot Ghulam Muhammad.
