Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar would soon visit Pakistan’s flood affected districts of Sindh and Balochistan and will distribute emergency relief goods to express solidarity with them in this critical hour of need.
Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mashaullah Shakeri said this while meeting Interior Minister Rehman Malik, said a press release on Monday.
Malik and Shakeri discussed host of issues pertaining to bilateral interests. Malik said Pakistan had always held its relations with Iran in high esteem and the ties with the brotherly country would be furthered strengthened with the passage of time.
Reiterating to further promote mutual relations between the two countries, the Iranian envoy said that Iran too considered Pakistan a true friend.
Earlier, a meeting was held with Malik in the chair to discuss the overall law and order situation in the country.
It was decided that the list of people to be included in Schedule 4 of Anti-terrorist Act (ATA) would be completed and free movements of such people from one province to another would be stopped. It was also decided that provinces should exchange in a timely manner to nab the culprits. The meeting was attended by secretary interior, FIA director general and Islamabad IG.
