India has released the water in River Jehlum which it had earlier held back for rescue work after a roadside accident in Srinagar, a private TV channel reported on Sunday. Bathian Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Fareed said that the water has now entered Pakistan via Chakothi, Azad Kashmir. The government has warned the residents to stay away from the river.
