Pakistan Army doctors and paramedical staff, in the first week of establishment of free medical camps, attended 26,788 patients, while 17,550 were screened for suspected symptoms and 282 serious cases were treated free-of-cost at CMH Lahore. Pak Army has provided a 200-bed facility at CMH Lahore, exclusively for severely infected civil patients. The patients are being provided free food and medical treatment. During the first week 150 patients have been discharged from CMH Lahore after complete recovery. Pak Army has installed latest state-of-the-art blood screening machines at the free medical camps.
