ANP leader Asfandyar Wali Khan has welcomed MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s decision to retract from his controversial remarks.
Altaf had accused ANP leader of receiving millions of dollars from the United States to take part in 2008 general elections.
His allegation stirred political tension between the two parties as both sides were demanding ban on each other. But in a statement from London today, Hussain regretted that his remarks had hurt the sentiments of ANP leaders and activists. “I withdraw from these remarks,” he said in the statement.
The MQM chief said he wanted to end the bitterness between two parties as Pakistan needed peace and reconciliation. According to political pundits, Altaf’s decision would help defuse tension between the two sides.
Jithoon thee khoti utthoon aan khloti.
Altaf Hussain is a gangster and a petty thug… so are the ANP bastards… unclean filthy and extremely stupid
All dramay Bazi these idiots r not sincere with awam whenever that want they love each other or kill each other on name of race but who is dying “the am awam”
The allegations must be true,.as they know more than us. But how much Altaf taking from India, uk or from some other countries.. Why not he come to country and contest elections & become Prime Minister of Pakistan as he is much clever than zardari & nawaz shareef & other incapable leaders. Let him get a last chance which he missed for so many elections..
Asfand Yar Wali could have been the president of Pakistan. Alas he too was bought by Zardari. I have not seen Dr Shahid Masood on media for some time. I believe he too was eventually paid off like Shaeen Sehbai of tribune.
Jb mian biwi razi to kiya kraga Qazi. I think it is a good gesture from both sides. Now move forward, simply for the sake of the country.
Dramy Baazy ……….
