In a bid to control dengue, owners of all marriage halls and cinemas in Samanabad Town were directed on Saturday to spray health department-approved medicines according to the prescribed procedure, on their own expense. This was decided in a meeting chaired by PML-N MNA Marghoob Ahmed.
The MNA directed all town municipal officers present in the meeting to display banners at public places and other buildings used for commercial purposes increasing awareness about signs of dengue and precautionary measures that should be taken.
Around 50 teams for indoor residual spray were announced in the meeting, which were assigned the task of spraying inside and in a 100 metres radius around the houses of 71 dengue patients.
